I’ve got a few 6ah cheap ones. They’re Chinese ah I think!! They’re better than the 2ah genuine ones.

They do no last. I had two last week break. I got the hump and went and bought a genuine 4ah one. P1sses all over the Chinese sixes.

I will use genuine from now on, on the tools that have big demands like die grinder, angry grinder, Ugga dugga etc. low draw stuff like soldering iron and lamps I’ll just use the copies

yeah seems like a handy thing to have cross between a dremel and a grinder

what abrasives is everyone using or ordering ? got alot of scotch brite and poly discs for mine for cleaning up scabs on the cars

Roloc arbour and decent pads.

I’ve got scotch pads and some the blue ones in different grits. I get the good name brands. The cheap ones really are rubbish. Also, you probably know, but on that grinder 1 or 2 is max for them. Any more they self destruct

Having used it for a bit… what a proper bit of kit! Well worth the investment!

Bought a starter kit of roloc pads off eBay and some Dronco slit discs and now loads more options for working on things.

Probably the best tool I’ve had since the belt finger sander.

Genuine all the way, some of my M18 batts are over ten tears old.

I have managed all my life without a battery die grinder, think it must be over 10 years since I used the air one. Now I want a red one.

You need both! I have lots of both!
It depends on what you are using it for I use the 12V gear a lot for the smaller less demanding jobs as they are much lighter and easier on the hands.
The 18V gear gets used for the heavier jobs mostly

I can't even remember the last time I used any die grinder, so you're not alone in rarely using them.
I often feel I'm missing something, but have never really had a use for one.

My rule is any tool justifies its purchase if it is used once, even if not for its intended purpose!

Now I’ve switched to Red stuff, I want more - no I want it all!

what are you guys using max speed for ? so far its been ample on speed 1 , and i dont see many wheels that require 24k revs

i use warp speed on carbide burrs but thats all i really use in it TBH. I souuld get some different consumbles for mine. any linkks to what u all use

Depends what you do.

I use mine daily. The 90 degree one that is.

Usually has a roloc pad on it. Good for sanding and linishing. Got a selection of burrs as well.

I find it’s a get you out of a hole tool. For snapped bolts it’s a godsend.

I can't even remember the last time I used any die grinder, so you're not alone in rarely using them.

1 or 2 for abrasive or scotchbrite pads.

4 for carbide burrs

Use a small ball end burr. If a bolt is snapped flush it gives you a better centre than trying to spot it.
