Yes, you can see where I cut away the A tunnel and have a modified section of a narrow B tunnel ready to bolt in over the hole, in 1973 I made a tunnel out of chicken wire and fiberglass mat but the B section is a great fit and will be stronger.Did you have to modify the tunnel to fit around the overdrive?
Ive a few air filter catalogues but cant check until the morningHas anyone got an old, 1970-1980's WIX filter catalogue , I fitted paper air filters inside the MGA housings 50 years ago and they are due for a change, they have WIX A70 on them but I have no idea of application, I seem th remember they were an odd vehicle in 1974-5 when I pulled them off a shelf in Chingford car spares .............

I am doing this with my Wolseley 1500, but fitting the later four synchro gearbox and overdrive, which is physically bigger. All I need is a MGB narrow tunnel to cover it, as its a lot easier than shaping something to fit, but they are like unicorn horns, and holy grails to find at a sensible price.Yes, you can see where I cut away the A tunnel and have a modified section of a narrow B tunnel ready to bolt in over the hole, in 1973 I made a tunnel out of chicken wire and fiberglass mat but the B section is a great fit and will be stronger.
