I voted Professional welder/fabricator (general) , but it could be, Professional welder/fabricator (vehicle related) if you count, excavators, loading shovels, dump trucks, fork trucks etch.
I've not posted much recently, because I have been looking for a job (thinking about going self employed, mobile
). We all got made redundant, no surprise. Sorted now (same stuff, different employer) and I don't need to keep an eye on the boss all the time to stop him killing himself or anyone else.

But hey, a welder that lays such "sexy" beads as you do will never have trouble finding work!
I voted Other, but could have been Machine operator/machinist crossed with Mantenance engineer.
It's toolmaking Jim, but not as we know it: Tig welded ali fabrications used in 'Dip Moulding'; producing flexible PVC mouldings. Mig together steel framework/machinery; support for maintenance nnd production dept's. Machining 2nd-ops jigs and fixtures.
Increasing workload means that I should focus more on scheduling/design/development/supervising, but we're just too damn busy.

Have gone for Hobby/Landrover (Hobby/Retro Hillman would have been more like it in may case
)
All for personal use...
Mainly MOT welding, planning to patch the exhaust on our Citroen next week, put new sills on my Hillman Estate last year, redid the exhaust last month, maybe rebuild the shabby wing-tops on it at some point.
Also odd bits around the house, gates, security, brackets, bits for the motorbike when needed ...

Retired, just a hobby. Model engineering. Help run a miniature railway and involved with track and anti tip rail welding and general MT around the site. Tig is starting to take off with model rolling stock and passenger carriages, so that will be my next thing. I've recently got two driving trucks assembled with tig, look very tasty.

I'm a self employed Coded welder/fabricator, done most things from structral to site work to fabrications.
I just make stuff we need at work.
And weld up this and that for people but don't make a habit of it as peoples expectations often out weigh the potential.
"this would cost a fortune to get done by a proper welder". And why do you think that is?? Welding scrap together is not enjoyable.
I learnt the Tig to make Alli doors for our new polytunnel.
The doors are £550 each and the materials cost about £100 + nearly a days labour. So making 2 doors has paid for our cheap chinese Tig.

When I was 16 Dad said to me he was sick of mending things I had bent, so I learnt how to heat things up and where to hit them with big hammer.
Quarter centuary later I'm still farming but finding time taken up with fabrication and repair projects for neighbours. Most of materials come from recycled (legal!) sources and other peoples offcuts.
Been making farmyard gates, bale spikes, buckets, putting kit sheds up and keeping ageing blue tractors going.

Ok, so I do have a few Landy's too but they don't need welding yet as they are only about 14 yrs old 
Apprentice trained mechanical engineer, heavy rotating machinery - gearboxes (5-40 tons), hands on on m/c's, most things from whitemetal bearings to horizontally bored gearcases, then went into DO with a co. that made coal mining machinery, initally in their structures side, latterly in hydraulics and electro-hydraulics.
When Mrs T fecked the coal mining up I messed about doing other things including laying out press and punch programs for a local fabricators.
That came to an end so went back to gearing for a few years, then went laying out/installing warehouse racking but that got bu99ered up by accountants so back to the gearing again as a Project Manager on the service side of the co. I did my apprenticeship at and I'm still there
While the above was ongoing I played with Mini's (real ones) Triumph GT6's and TR7 V8's before discovering that the world looks better fron the elevated seats of a Landy.
Started with a SII, which I wish I still had, followed by 3 300TDi Discos and a 300TDi 'fender. Second Disco is being made into a NCF Sahara which is how I came to be here.
