I don’t know if there is a market in those log burners, you can buy a cast type log burner for £350 new some of the cheapies.

I think you'd have to focus on being able to customise them to individual sizes for people, I'm waiting on a price back from my usual guy as well.

I’d say they were mostly suited to heating workshops and sheds. Most people will want glass, ash pan and firebricks for home use, which greatly complicates it.

I’d be looking to put a baffle in it and burn waste oil personaly, with occasional wood. I wouldnt have the logs to keep that thing fuelled full time!

Tried the dxf on fractory, was coming out at £137 ex vat, but then wanted £500 for shipping that was only 3mm thick mind. 5mm wasnt an option.
