Landrover evoque 2013 ?

The Nissan juke seems to me to be the pinnicale of stupid vehicles. And they seem to be the chosen vehicle of the overweight karren.

My wife has a Juke

Nice to drive, reliable, cheap tax, 60mpg. Most it has cost me is 2 new tyres plus the yearly Mot and service
Big enough for all the family plus shopping etc, although we generally use my car if the whole family is going any distance

Not my choice of styling but if we all like the same thing the world would be a very dull place indeed

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here, you have never owned/driven/talked to anyone that does own or drive a Juke?

2 years she has had it, perfectly adequate time to judge reliability

No I don't know anyone that would buy one. We have all the world going on about global warming and reducing emissions, yet the juke is the exact example of why the human race is trying it's hardest to do the opposite.
They have made a large un aerodynamic vehicle that achieves the same as hatchback.
As said before I can understand the need of some for a large vehicle. But modern crossovers are not.
The older generation of rav 4 was physically similar in size to the juke yet inside a enormous.
So the juke evoque and others seem to occupy a nonexistent need. Other than as a status symbol.

You are right - not a pretty car - a Fiat Multipla - you gotta wonder at the designers and the people who signed it off for production.

I presume you have enough common sense to understand lifting a vehicle high of the ground and making it bulky is not exactly race car ethos. Now I understand that vans, pickups, people carriers and the like have these as a practical design to help them be efficient in other areas of their use. But the juke is just a hatchback. Lifted up to meet the crossover market. I.e. the status symbol market.

I always kinda liked the original Multipla. Yeah it's fugly, but distinctive and spacious and practical (if prone to rot).
Sort of like an updated Renault 4

Cashcow - was the biggest selling car at one point - as long as you avoid the 4x4 model and the one with the self destruct 1.5DCi engine in it...

A petrol two wheel drive one is a good choice of car.

Few electrical gremlins relating to stop/start warnings and internal heater blower motors. But "all in all" not the worst car on the road by far.

My sister in law has a petrol Juke and it's been pretty good as far as I know. She's just ordered a QashQi CashQuy Cashcow, whatever!

I can say a Juke is only suitable for small children in the back - cramped is the word.
The "Reverse Tardis" quip someone used for the Evoque is at least as applicable to the Juke - big on the outside, like a bread bin on the inside.

I've never said it's anything other than a hatchback, with love/hate styling but to project your unfounded and unhinged ramblings (driven by overweight Karen's) and try and justify them as fact just marks you out as another person inflexible in their view of the world

Bet you have a strong, biased opinion on my EV as well

A landrover defender does 60 effortlessly. Take the limiter of a 44arctic and it will do 60 effortlessly. Doesn't mean it will do it as efficiently as possible. And at the end of the day Nissan couldnt give a toss. They have created a car that allows people to fit an image. Albeit the image of not being able to afford the actual SUV.
My point still stands whether you like it or not and as reiterated by other forum members they are an incredibly inefficient use of space.

He's going for a Landrover. No idea of model. So that's that. Not my recommendation. But again not my car.

In defence of the Kuga....IF it continues to run as now, then it's brilliant. Nearly 50mpg at optimum conditions. Holds road like a mini and has the umph to pull caravan with ease.
The AWD is a bit of enigma though and after having the ABS module repaired the electronics are questionable. The later models had issues with heated seats catching fire? Or was that on Qanon? I am tempted to get another, but it's Ford. Still can't find where rain is getting into footwells. Even hose-pipe jet hasn't found it.
Only new car I ever owned was a Capri in the 70's. A total crock of crap including the crooked dealership who were job-creating by putting faults in. Rusting at 6 months.
