    the blue one is a mate of mine, lives locally.
    in august in the top of scotland we stopped for lunch, who should pull up having spotted the landrovers? yup Johnny.

    Yes that's the plan the side door isn't a bit look forward to but have done similar sealing doors in the past.

    Ill be interested to see what you come up with for the side door.

    The sides are not steel at all - they are strenghtened by folded alloy. Im guessing that, if the inside skin is stripped (and the insulation) you would be able to see where the existing structure is, and make up a steel frame to bolt up to the alloy skeleton. Or at least that's what ill do, unless you come up with a better idea in the meen time!

    Was pretty much thinking building in a casing with the minimum amount of interfering with existing.
    It's all things that can make the job grow in cost and time that bothers me
