if you paid the new price for the unit and in a few years it started going black on the circit board i would defo have a few things to say about it
Yep. I'd imagine it's something that would of been sorted out and revised by now. In fairness although it's something that's been seen before, how often do you hear of failures on them. Not a great design agreed but that unit has been around since the early 2000's and despite some indepth searches I found very little on failures and nothing popped up about that particular board. It was only when I spoke to them I found out it has been seen before and caused no ill effect.if you paid the new price for the unit and in a few years it started going black on the circit board i would defo have a few things to say about it
A lot less than 50% it's new price. Seller was legit. I've no issues with the transaction made.good to hear and i think from what your saying you paid not a large amout for it
Perhaps he doesn't want the responsibility if it goes wrong. I'd imagine it's all too easy to make a mistake and cause further damage perhaps?? Yours is a 3k powersource like mine. Don't wanna be blowing that up.Good to know, it's OK. And hopefully is the same with mine. I'm trying to get my mate to upgrde them, but he wont for some reason

Over a grand. I'll have it sorted before it gets to that stage.im not an electronics engininer but do know if they are getting hot enught to cause board to brown the components are getting hot more than they should normaly be yes its my be an older mechine so yes they could have fixed the problems in the newer mechines
but that does not realy help youself if it does fail just out of intrest did you ask the price of a replacment board ?
broken it cant get any worse
and @Shox Dr look it it from his point if he solders the bits in place and it does not work who would you be pointing the finger at or if he does the job and it fails in a few months the same again
im not trying to say hes right but if it was me and it was me and playing with a 2/3000 mechine i would want to know 110 % im doing it right
if i was playing with a 2/3000 mechine and it was not working yes i would have a play as if its broken it cant get any worse

Yes you can use that but froniarse screws are also slotted right out.Froniarse usually use a T25 torx head screw, just like EtrubleUM.
