It has caused every other corvid thread to get locked. You are all entitled to your opinions & what you choose to put into your body. Just don't post them in this thread, I will get them deleted!
I started this thread as a fun daily diary to share my experiences with corvid, please keep it that way!

Back on topic.

Feeling a lot better this past 2 days, pains & aches have mostly gone, appetite & taste/smell coming back, left with a cough & stuffy nose but managing to get some green gunge out.

Mum & Dad are testing clear now, I hope to go to town tomorrow so I'll test myself to see if I'm safe to go. My magnesium supplement ran out last week & I think that's the cause for my continuing lower leg cramps.

I'm fully vaccined, been offered this years jabs by both my GP practice & pharmacy. Will now have to wait 28days before getting the corvid jab but this experience has made all 3 of us glad that we were vaccinated. We dread to think how much sicker we would have been unvaccinated, it would probably have finished off my Dad!

The only good that has come of this is that it has scared my parents into getting this years vaccine. One of their 'friends' is in the anti-vax brigade & their constant bs had my parents considering not getting their vaccines this year! As I've said, their friend is entitled to their beliefs but they should keep that to themselves instead of trying to convert a couple of physically vulnerable people in their late 80's. They've been on this planet long enough enough to make up their own mind!

A week on and we’re still both testing positive and feeling very rough. Mrs A was spent yesterday afternoon and much of last night mopping me down to try and get my temperature under control, consistent 38 +, peaked at 40

both me and the wife had both jabs this year a month ago thought i had corvid all the symptoms but tested clear just a bad head cold it seems but never had one as bad in the last 50 years

at stages yes...loss of taste or things taste strange (might be mrs cooking)

This is my third bout, the previous two I was asymptomatic. Other than a being snotty and sneezing, no other side-effects. ( Maybe I'm less energetic than usual)

I have been working from home since the beginning of the month. Covid is rife at work. I am staying here until it blows over.
I had it when in hospital last year and I have no intention of going through that again if I can help it!

What scares me is ( without considering the virus itself ) the long covid disease , that's one of the reasons which pushed me to get punctured .

A lot of people stil got it after months and months ( big focusing problems , headaches , low body strenght and so on ) .
Others recovered well in a week or so even without getting vaccinated , no explanations at all .
