I suspect your right. I gave it away in the end as I'd given it up as a bad job.If you manage to make it to the end of that book, let us know. You'll probably be the only person who's managed it.

I've read it several times: but I'm a total Tolkien geek.
If you can finish that book, geek doesn't even come close.
A worthy subject indeed. But The Silmarillion just didn't seem to get going. I could be wrong, but i'm sure I read that his son finished the book as it was incomplete. If I ever went on mastermind, my expertise would definitely be "the works of Tolkien".

Helps me as well.Slept better last night by not eating or drinking anything after eight o'clock in the evening. Not sure yet but it might be a solution for my insomnia.
Have you tried everything? I was getting 2-4hrs two years ago and that was on a good night. Started minimal dosage mirtazapine and my sleep increased to 5-6hrs for most nights. That's how things stayed for 18months. That was still painful so I finally went back to doc and asked him to increase dosage. My sleep then increased to 6-8 hours and that's still only on a medium dosageGot 4 hours good sleep last night.
Also got lots of research done.
No food after 7pm. No coffee after 6pm.
But I have learned a fair bit.
Paint takes longer to dry at night, even in a warm play pen.
Bugs will land in wet paint, at any time.
Watching bats will loose you time.
Reading books by Tilly or storm lights is not a bad thing.
Blood is still red at 04:32.
A plane blade is still annoying at 7am as it was at 1am.
In the past few weeks.
I still do not like hand brushing stairs carpets.
The new sleeping meds make you happy you have triple ply toilet paper.
But I can cut a mean dove tail joint.
I still can splice rope and cordage.
The Crows/ravens will watch you as you sharpen axes, sickles and other garden tools.
Robins are noise making animals.
I'm wondering if you're not stuck in a cycle where knowing you won't sleep and the associated sleep anxiety is causing you not to sleep? This is getting to a point it is frustrating.
3 hours sleep, not good REM sleep. But 3 hours of bad broken sleep.
Max of 4 cups a day.Cut out the coffee vark... you might have to murder a few norberts, but no loss there ......
I get tired and in bed at 10pm. No internet after 9pm. fall asleep.I'm wondering if you're not stuck in a cycle where knowing you won't sleep and the associated sleep anxiety is causing you not to sleep?
That sleep hygiene stuff made things worse for me. I found it better if I just put away any sleep expectations.I get tired and in bed at 10pm. No internet after 9pm. fall asleep.
But then I am wide awake.
I follow docs advise get up, small glass of water or milk. then try again.
But when it is clear as the dead norberts that it is not coming back. I get up and do something useful.
