This is pretty much the total of my plant output this year*, except maybe four or five tomatoes that I've already eaten.
I've got rid of virtually all the plants now, which will save me some watering time every morning. I've got a few chilli plants that are flowering and, in some cases, starting to grow small chillies, but anything else is on the compost heap. It's not much stuff, for the amount of time I've spent watering them, re-potting them and generally looking after them, and I think to do any better I'd probably have to put a bit more effort in. As with last year, I wonder whether I'll bother next year, but it's nice to have some home grown stuff from time to time.
I also had these
two Costoluto Fionrentino tomatoes, that stayed white on one side and red on the other. I left them for ages hoping that they'd go red all over, but I wonder if it's a reaction to them being in the porch window, as this is the side facing the glass, and potentially touching it. I've got another tomato (either Gardener's Delight or Money Maker) that did the same thing. I've left these too long, now, and they're all soft so have gone.
( * not the banana, obviously, but I've read that it might help the things to ripen).
