Most looks reasonably well rotted but I remember throwing some mouldy chestnuts in there. Most have "rooted".

We usually get a crop of random pumpkins from our compost in the bean trench from the seeds dumped in the bin the previous year. I leave them to get on with it. While they're covering the ground between the beans, the perennial weeds have more of a fight to get started.

Mrs just tried out this attachment from Aldi this week for cleaning the slabs, she says it fantastic, just thought I'd pass it on.

As to the tray of "mother of millions" underneath. That stuff is insidious.

I need to buy/make more benches as most of my Bonsai trees are on the ground!

They're all fully in leaf now though, One or two have leaves that are still filling with sap so are a little droopy!

Lovely, are Bonsai hardy or do you take them in over winter?

Bonny, are you sure the 3rd picture is a Bonsai….looks a lot like something plod seems to take a dim view of folk growing with hydroponics….
