They must be different between the Colchester Master and the Colchester Master 2500.It does have that but it's smaller, facing straight up and on the other side of the apron.

What about an Elliott Omnimill 00? It's £500 but with no bids and it ends soon so I might be able to make an offer. It looks very versatile with both vertical and horizontal heads and the vert one can be tilted and slid and it has a quill feed.
I have messaged the seller of the Harrison posted here earlier about the table being straightened up, maybe I'll bid on that.
Do you mean the fact that it's CNC or that it's benchtop? I'm really not a fan of eitherHAve you thought about something like this?
I cant seem to find one in the UK however so they might not be available ...but they seem to have a lot of movement/throw etc.
I had seen that but I hadn't had a really good look through it until now. It looks like a great machine and it would be perfect for a small workshop. Any ideas to move it? Obviously hire a trailer with a ramp but what about getting it on and off the trailer? Could we tip it enough to get 2 round bars under it and roll it Egyptian styleOmnimill 00? Get it bought!
Some info here (if you haven't already seen it)...

Looking on trailer hire websites and I see they do a tipper trailer. Do you think it would be a good idea to get one, tip it up, strap the mill to it, lower it back down and then slide it further onto the trailer?
thats what i used to move mineA tipping trailer isn't a good idea as the bed tends to be very heigh, your best bet would be a plant trailer or car trailer with the bed as low as possible.
i might be wrong but is it 3/4 of a tonne 15 hundredweightThere's a place near me, MTM plant hire, who do a 15CWT trailer for only £10 per day. What does CWT mean and is it be suitable to carry a half ton mill?
CWT means hundredweight, a hundredweight is 112 pounds, there are 2240 pounds or 20 CWT to the ton (not tonne) so as BS says 3/4 of a tonThere's a place near me, MTM plant hire, who do a 15CWT trailer for only £10 per day. What does CWT mean and is it be suitable to carry a half ton mill?
Yes,Of course, hundredweight. I'll phone them tomorrow and find out the height of the bed and some other stuff.
What's the difference between a ton and a tonne? Is one metric?
So: ton = 2000lbsYes,
imperial ton,
metric tonne
2000lbs is an american ton, also called a short ton. proper tons (ours) are 2240lbsSo: ton = 2000lbs
tonne = 1000kgs ?
