No problem, just watch out for frosts. If you want to be sure Wickes sell extra rapid setting cement.

The link is for a 25kg bag but they sell 10kg bags as well. Add a couple bags of sharp sand, mix up a screed and lay a ramp with it.
The 10kg cement is £6, 2 bags of Sharp sand is £3.60. That gives you a mix of 1:5, mix it well on a scrap bit of board dry and then slowly add water till you get a stiff mix. You can lay it with the back of a spade or shovel if you don't have a float or trowel.

An associate of mine bought an old lathe (a Keighley Lifts if I remember right) from a closed-down textile place in the depths of Leicester. I was visiting a client in Wigston and offered to nip in and collect it for him.
When I got there the old guy who was selling it asked where my three burly mates were: I said it's just me and he said not to expect him to help as his back and legs were kaput.
I ended up stacking pallets alongside the lathe, lifted the lathe off its legs and pedestal, used the lathes own drip tray as a skid plus some old bits of carpet and moved it single-handed about 50 yards through the factory, up and down steps and into the van.
I was Kerry Packered and Donald Ducked the next day
Similarly, I stripped, moved and rebuilt my Bridgeport 1ES solo; the hardest part (if anyone fancies it) is getting the knee back onto the column. You need an extra arm about where your Old Man is - or an engine crane, which I didn't have at the time.

I think it is very refreshing to see a 15yr old being pretty knowledgeable and having a great interest like this.
I was about the same age when I bought my first small lathe - a Hobbymat MD65. Nobody around to teach me anything so all self taught.
Youtube is an excellent source for learning about things. Oh and this forum of course!!!

Seriously I don't think those ramps are going to make it,there's no bracing....its a bit like putting a wooden plank on an upright former and it will topple over when an upward force is put on the ramp.

Look at car ramps and see how they're braced.

Only thing to watch is the steerable wheel on a pallet truck is actually 2 wheels a few inches apart. I will go out and measure the gap now.

Seriously I don't think those ramps are going to make it,there's no bracing....its a bit like putting a wooden plank on an upright former and it will topple over when an upward force is put on the ramp.

Look at car ramps and see how they're braced.

They will brace themselves to a certain extent against the concrete step. My only concern really is they are a bit short. You won't know until you try.
You could weld a piece of angle underneath across the join for bracing.

Yes the wheels are wider at the front than the back!!!

I measured the steerable wheel spacing, the gap between the wheels is 75mm and the overall width of the wheel is 175mm.
If your ramps are short enough you could use the three ramps to get the front wheel on and then reposition the ramps to get the 2 roller wheels up.

I welded them up when I got in and they feel very solid and heavy but I have cocked up slightly, I welded the upright bit 90* to the top so when it's against the step there's a small gap at the top.
