The holes were from the first version of the knife. It got badly burnt and melted with my inexperience in the forge. This is what I managed to rescue. Thought I’d do it without pins

No mate it had rusted away under the handle. And snapped due to rusted steel. It was a large blade that turned into a spike..

It’s full of flaws, imperfections and general other bad stuff. But it’s my first ever knife so I’m happy. Most importantly I’ve learnt alot through the process and next one should be better

The bottom one is an Indian Machette I bought back from India. It’s called a “Dhaa”. Made from a truck leaf spring. It’s got some weight to it and takes a keen edge
