It looks a canny bit thicker in the pictures , I was just wondering if the chopper/clever type blade will have enough weight to it .Looking foward to seeing it done .

No problem, you can borrow it next week@Parm Lend me that Furnace! It's bloody cold in my workshop. I only did a bit of welding today to give me an excuse to put my welding gloves on! (had to take them off as I was using my woodworking lathe today)

I’ve had it for a few years, it’s it first proper outing. Got it from a place that was gonna Chuck it in a skip.....Nice furnace, where do you get it?
That's criminal on 2 levels. 1, someone was throwing it in the skip and 2, you got there before I did!I’ve had it for a few years, it’s it first proper outing. Got it from a place that was gonna Chuck it in a skip.....
What is its maximum rated temperature? A muffle furnace like that could be very handy. I've been using my normally-aspirated propane forge for occasional heat treatment. An oven like yours would eliminate a lot of the messing about and guestimation for fuel-air mixture and temperature...much more convenient to simply flip a switch.I’ve had it for a few years, it’s it first proper outing.
