Yes, my neighbour says oil price is well bearable. I am 64 and as each year passes I become less tolerant of the cold. I don't mind hauling wood in each night or stacking it and sometimes if it's free, sawing it but I would sometimes like to come home to a warm house when I have been out all day.Oil fired heating isnt bad to run price wise. We are gas free here too and did consider green options, RHI etc. but you can buy a lot of oil for the price differences.

. Winter 2018 we spent the winter in India, heating bill zero. Those pensioners who used to spend 4 months in Benidorm or Torramawotsit had the right idea, they can only do 3 months now but it is probably still worth it if they have a heat leaky place back home.
