I'm working with quite a slope, around 1" left to right and 1/2" front to back! Unfortunately I don't have the levelling bolts either. Short of screeding a new pad, I figured shimming with steel would be the best way to go then pegging it down to stop things jiggling downhill
Nothing special about the bolts, they don't even need to be hollow unless you want to pull down through the bolt into the floor below.
Either 7/8 or 15/16 UNC (or should I say whitworth) from memory.
