My daughter and son-in-law bought me a massive bean-to-cup coffee machine.
The exact same make and model as the one I donated to a charity shop last week as (a) it was too large for my kitchen and (b) I used to spend more time cleaning it than making coffee.
So very generous, but not much use. First world problems, eh.
Oh, also the large pile of cash my mother gave me, despite the fact that she spends every evening huddled up in coats and blankets in front of an unlit gas fire, to 'save money for when the weather gets cold', while I have more money than I can sensibly spend?
Bloody Christmas. How the hell has it turned into this stupid spend-fest?

Few bits and pieces of mine, i wanted to get back in too riding the bike so the missus bought me a cycle computer, unfortunately the bike won't leave the bedroom and being wireless it was quite a limited range, it works now if not ideal ! and various other bits less all the biscuits and chocolates i accumulate as the wife is diabetic !!

My wife and most other people get me Twin Peaks chocolate bars instead of the more famous triangular shaped ones beginning with the letter T after they tried stitching everyone up a few years ago buy almost halving the size of their bars.

I looked up this book. £600 odd quid for a copy! Then I found a snip at £349. Perhaps I’ll wait for it to come out on the Discover Channel.

They have also caused Carhartt to trim their range especially in the extra tall stuff and alot of it has been out of stock since covid. I want some new bibs and double front trousers but haven't seen any in stock for a long time.
There is another American company called Berne that are still proper work gear but won't post outside the us

60% Merino wool socks, from Altberg.
Got to say these are the best socks I have ever worn. Rode home today it did nothing but blow and hiss it down for 5hrs.
I got off the bike with only wet hands or so I thought. Took my boots off (a pair a enduro boots) to find my feet dripping wet. Didnt feel wet, a little cold. As soon as I stopped for petrol fill up pay and go, they were warm again. So well happy with one of my Christmas presents.
Socks, and well happy.

Santa was quite generous this year, and left me this. An Elegoo Mars 2 Pro resin printer I’ve only printed out the test castle chess pieces so far, but I’m impressed with the sharpness of the prints. I forgot to take a picture, so here’s one google google made earlier.
