The one my brother (and hence, me, in turn, but just missing the bits that made it work) had as a kid was more like pvc aquarium airline that you put together on a frame, like a roller coaster. I think it even had a self assembly motorised conveyor belt to drag up the bearings.
Your lucky ,mine did. I made a statement that there was to be no pressies for adults . Guess what the pillocks listened and I got nuffink. Must think of a different ploy next year. Also fed up with food picky nippers so asked the a few weeks ago what was their favourite meal. They both shouted cottage pie or egg fried rice so guess what the surprise Boxing Day lunch will be when they visit.
