40 beads would be far more benificial if they were performed trying to perfect the basics. As I've said a few times now you need to pefect technique in the easiest position (PA)(1G) on a plate before moving on. The pic above I did by showing a certain member some basic techniques of controlling hand movements and maintaining arc length, angle, filler while in the flat position. He's now IMO very competent with a Tig torch performing more complex joints as he's nailed the basics. (No prizes for guessing the member)

Tut tut. Nothing wrong with the joints I saw mate it's just a case of keeping on top of it. I never got your home work though so I was most upset about that

I know mate, I have it on my hearth and it haunts me.

Stainless 309 had loads come in on the scrap last month so I'm making a box for the wife to hide her present in so she wont guess the rest I practice with mess about with and dad still gets to scrap it

I wont mate I had to blend all my corners open corner welds are a bit tricky but I got em in there ill post a few pics tomorrow night when I'm finished
