It's a pity that we cannot all travel back in time, maybe 100 years back, and see how employers regarded the health and the lives of their worker as "consumables" and how many workers had serious health problems from their work by the time they were 30.
Let alone 100 years, it's only 50 years ago that I was at school and we were boiling benzene in the open lab; of course, it's an established carcinogen now and was a highly suspect liquid even then.
It's undoubtedly true that H&S has been invaded by w*ank*rs, but the idea that 90% of all H&S is bad, I can't believe your are serious.
