You might want to stuff a rag or something into open pipework (especially the turbo intake) - nothing worse than finding a dropped nut or bolt in there first time you fire it up

I was just thinking the other day how I'd like to do something similar to an Alfa Spider (convert to RWD), but, I don't have the spare cash or skills or space, and besides I have a 6 litre RX7 now anyway which keeps me plenty occupied and skint

Mmmmm, my brother did that, and forgot about the rag. It didn't destroy the turbo, but it wasn't pretty.

Masking tape or foil tape works well over places you want to keep clean like exposed inlet ports.

Nice project,looking forward to more updates Like has already been pointed out lots of Focus and Escorts about now with more mods to the shell than what you are doing and they have kept the original vehicles reg.

yeah im not too botherd about it.

but it was the type of job i could not rush and every thing had to be spot on, also made a jig for the center of the wheels but never took a pic.
as you can see the car is level and so is the subframe
