they never seemed to conclude but presumably he would have been a lap down after that first lap behind the SC. But that’s why I just can’t understand how they’re allowed to recover and repair the car. Still
It would have been cracking watching him come back through the pack.

That was what was wrong. That race started after the 1st lap behind the safety car according to the rules. But they never started the clock . Quoting force majeure rules.

Apparently if the race had got going he was going to be allowed to start from the pitlane on the same lap.

Yes it got me to be honest. It was a solution but I really did not think Toto was daft enough to end up with a Rosberg/ Hamilton conundrum again.
Whilst Lewis has experience and 7 world titles I actually think GR is quicker. This could end up badly especially if Redbull have the same performance advantage as they do this year.

I thought Botas might have stayed for 1 more year.
