Would have been gutted if I'd paid to go out to watch that race.
Even worse the RBIA allowed him back in.
Just abandoned...the biggest issue I have is they can't go fast enough to clear the water with the safety car in front.I'm assuming that had they not done that, the race would have to have been rescheduled with all the additional expense and logistical problems that would have entailed?
They should just allow the lead driver running to a delta to take over to clear the track before picking them back up with the safety car.

That was what was wrong. That race started after the 1st lap behind the safety car according to the rules. But they never started the clock . Quoting force majeure rules.
Apparently if the race had got going he was going to be allowed to start from the pitlane on the same lap.

Yes it got me to be honest. It was a solution but I really did not think Toto was daft enough to end up with a Rosberg/ Hamilton conundrum again.
Whilst Lewis has experience and 7 world titles I actually think GR is quicker. This could end up badly especially if Redbull have the same performance advantage as they do this year.
