I've been watching a lot of his videos, been a great source of information.also look into sealing them
I've only let wifey use a paint brush once. I took it off her shortly after.i wont let mine loose with a paint brush not after id done al the work to make it look good prep and etc all for to save me a couple hours if i dont paint it (and i hate painting)
Every one of them!
I painted all the white woodwork in our old house, then went offshore for a month and left my wife to do the walls in whatever colour she wanted.I've only let wifey use a paint brush once. I took it off her shortly after.
I too hate painting but I have my limits.
In the end I drilled into the two holes, they turned out to be caps covering the screws.Only things I can think of, looking at those, is to drill a small hole in the centre of those screw covers, & then either try & hook them out with a pick, else drive the tip of a thin woodscrew through the hole, & see if that'll bite so you have something to pull the cap with.
Im starting with the biggest two first then will move on the next biggest and cut down my ply as I go till I end up with the smallest. Only doing one at a time.if you have alot of windows that are roughly the same size you can build some expanding covers while you sort the windows out
all you need is a piece in the middle and 2 sides that slide out
you can also do it in 2 halves as well for taller windows
My wife will go as high as you like as long as she can keep one foot on the floor.Good work, looks like a lovely house too.
I would never get my mrs up a ladder![]()
