Was out today and when I down shifted at a roundabout to slow down the bike just bogged and died so I get it home and it’s no compression so pull the valve cover and find that the locking nut has came of the tappet and it’s wound itself out which will explain the compression I think so get lucky and the nut hasn’t gone into the bottom end so fish it out and get it all put back together and the valves set but the engine wasn’t stone cold when I set them but it hadn’t been ran in 3.5 hours but it now sounds like this
