This is driven by writing off losses grown from the exit from Rosneft in Russia. Then the rise in oil prices. I will reiterate with these large profits for oil companies….most of it is made overseas. But the media and lets tax the world politicians neglect to mention that as it doesn't suit there agenda.They made a loss of $20.4 billion in the first quarter of 2022and $10billion profit the second quarter, no wonder CEOs make so much being the god level business men they are to make a company failing in the tune of $80 billion dollar losses a year and turn it into a $40billion dollar a year profit! That's an effective annual increase of $120billion dollars!!!!!!! It's almost unbeleivable.....
