The strike prices are what they are, you can speculate they were "touted" for something if that makes you feel better.Those strike rates for wind were touted to win contracs for future projects. They are actually being paid far more by careful manipulation of their contracts.
The Rills Royce SMRs are promising £40 as well. We shall see.
I am not against wind power IF we could store the surplus.
It's good that RR are doing this for purely altruistic reasons and presumably won't be making a profit then?
