Even though I am a Bambu fanboy, I have just pre ordered one of the new Elegoo Carbon Centuri as they are only £300.
We will see if they live up to the promise!
Most of the reviews say the firmware is rubbish so hopefully that will be sorted by the time it ships in July.
I will do a review once it arrives.

I have been saving for a bambu, but the CC is tempting at a price, and I have little interest in multi-materials, colors, etc.

I have a dual ams setup on the P1S but just use it as a convenient way of changing filament between jobs. I am hoping they bring out an ams in the future as it saves a lot of effort in changing out a roll.

It was just the price. I wanted a core XY but didn't want to pay for another P1S. I am interested in the new H2D they are showing but that will also depend on price!

Edit to say, if my idea takes off, we are thinking of setting up a print farm (if 10 printers constitute a farm!) so it will be a test to see whether we go Bambu or Elegoo.
It will probably all fizzle out but the Mrs reckons she could run it so we are testing the water!

Just got notification that they have shipped it earlier than expected. Should be here within the next 7 days.

I have an ankermake m5, and I love the hardware but the software is appalling. It’s closed, too, so although I could load a g file onto an SSD stick I’m stuck with ankermake (now eufy) software to print over the network.

Such a shame that great hardware is ruined by poor software decisions. Look forward to hearing how you get on with the elegoo as I’d consider replacing mine.

The printer arrived today. If you are able bodied and strong, unpacking will be no problem.
We struggled but got there in the end.
It set up easily and after the initial 30 minute self test, it was ready for printing.
The benchy is preloaded. 15 minutes and really good.
The mini printer poop bin is also a preloaded file.
Pleased with it so far, I will print some more substantial things over the next few days.

I have been pleased with the results so far. At the moment it is all work stuff but I should be able to post some pics of my own stuff in a week or so.
I have been running it around 6 hours a day since getting it. The PET-G requires being fed from the dryer but that's what I got it for.

It doesn't have the quality of build and is noisier but it did just work out of the box.
I have 1600 hours on the P1S and it has been superb. Only changed the ptfe tubes and one hot end.
We shall see how things go.

Just clocked 77 hours on this now. I am pleased with it. For the price point, it works well.
As many have said, the led light is rubbish. I just use a small cob light from the outside, shining through the glass top.
I have predominantly printed with Sunlu PET-G with the occasional PLA roll thrown in.
The prints have been consistent without a single failure.
I will do a service at 100 hours and check everything is tight as I have heard things can come loose around then.
I have finished the job it was bought for so it may be a couple of weeks before it gets used again.
The Bambu is still my go to printer but if we do set up a print farm (unlikely now) we would use these.

...I ordered one a couple of weeks back for what seems a bargain price of £320 delivered (half what I paid for my Ankermake). No hint of a delivery date yet, but new orders are suggesting "Before August 31" so I may have a bit of a wait on my hands.

Mine was due July but turned up in May, so there is hope!
