@gaz1 is that your shaper and if so does it perform well?look into perfecto shaper that mechanism can be used with ours as the head base slide stays still

It makes a surface flat by moving a fixed cutter over the work and then the workpiece will move over incrementally. It was used alot back in the day for doing ways and tops on machines.Can I ask what a Shaper does please?
