Ah - apologies - I thought it was going to be a metal worktop. Gaz's answer is better than mine, in that case.I was planning to put a wooden top on this. I am going to make a welding bench but not sure cupboards underneath is a good idea.
Thanks guys i will cut some little tabs, drill and weld them to the frame.
What about adding a piece of plate to the corner where my vice will go? Pending its purchase, the one i have now is rubbish.
looks great here just one thing wait till you get some weight in the cupboard/draws then you will know how hard it is to kick in the wheels to lift off the floor as you may just find that they either bend or will not engauge due to the weight of the unit and equipment that you have stored in them
Have you got any links to images ?? I once looked at a saw bench that used a cheap scissor jack to raise and lower the feet it was ingenious but I can't find it now I need to look at it again....Nah. Bolt regular castors to a hinged plate and push to the floor with a bolt.
