Wow - I hadn't expected so much discussion on something that I thought would be simple

That side of the garage is just on waste ground (belonging to me) so I'll maybe start with just having it pee out the wall.

Well if that is rainwater its 68mm dia there are no strapons for that size.

Rainwater is push fit with no seals and not normally solvent welded "So it is a welding thread"

I'd let it run to ground KISS keep it simple stupid

Mmmmmm, best to do the job right first time no messin. I would say the way forward would be to forget the dehumidifier, it is too complicated and potentially dangerous.
Best thing to do is get one of those free energy hydrogen kits off of ebag-no energy costs there. Vacuum out the air and hermetically seal the H unit inside your garage and attach a long rope and extension lead to the corner of the block-work. Eventually the Hydrogen will lift the whole building up and high into the atmosphere where there is a lot less moisture thus curing your condensation/rusting issues. When you want to do some welding just pull it down again and immediately get in and start welding-nice dry mig wire'll feed through lovely. Job's a good un.. Flawless plan so please no nit pickin, it won't make any sense you know.

Well, that mostly makes sense but I must admit that I'm a tad concerned about sparking up the welder in a garage full of hydrogen. Hindenburg, anyone?

But in an effort to assist the question, you will draw a couple of litres of water a day so trickling it out to a bit of waste ground won't cause a problem. On the other hand the neighbours may think you have installed a dodgy toilet with an overflow and call the council on ye!

The pipe will poke out on to a bit of waster land, owned by us, that nobody overlooks. So that seems the easiest solution.

As for the neighbours, I opened the bleed valve on the compressor last night and locked the garage up, with the hisssssssssing still going.
Five minutes later I had a panicked neighbour at the door saying "You've got a gas leak in the garage ".
I reassured him that it was only compressed air but I guess next time I'll hang around until the compressor's empty
