You wouldn't get any ram air effect at low gear ratio mud plugging speeds anyway
On bikes you need to be doing a decent speed for any kind of ram air set up to work, probably more that the average 4x4 would be moving at!
Edit: most bikes don't have turbos so it's used quite a bit on them.

Bored of the cold and it isnt warming up on a ten minute run to the yard so Im fitting a webasto. Thermo top C’s are getting a bit old now so Ive opted for a thermo top V off a Disco 3. Prepared it for carriage clearance yesterday but the Discovery 3 exhaust will need tweaking. Going to just run it off a chinese rf remote, gone for one with two fobs so I can switch it on when I get up

Will do mate. Ill do a write up, its apparently canbus controlled on the D3, but the heater still has the discrete switched inputs fitted to control it. Got all the bits except a 2 pin plug for the dosing pump thats on its way

I think Suzuki quoted a min of 120mph before the ram air made a difference on the SRAD

I got swapping the hubs down to a fine art, 3 ugga duggas on the big nut and you are good

First cold morning of the year, turned the key and got the cheery 3 bings from the dash area . To be fair its managed 6 months after doing the svs wiring mod and clearing the fault codes

Ours has been fine since I did the SVS mod. My guess would be something else has caused it.
I bought a Foxwell scanner with the JLR module. I'm not sure what Nanocom or Hawkeye can do that it can't but it's been great for me so far.
Mine is a 510 but the latest incarnation looks to be the 530.
