Ive modified every car ive owned and attacking the D2 with a holesaw for the snorkel was squeaky bum time
I sealed it all up with some duct sealant from screwfix, it was fine when a crossing was deeper than expected and water came over the bonnet
cheers, it came with a template so less scary than when I attacked the navara with a cutting disc to fit a sunroof. Ive got some sikafkex ebt+ to seal everything, its given a nice if cold day tomorrow so hopefully will get it finished
Did you seal up the rubber ducksbill thing on the bottom of the airbox ?I also taped up the cloth pipe from the inner wing to airbox, added sealant and jubilee clips. I tested by putting my hand over the top, tried to suck my hand in but the engine died, confirming it was properly sealed
