so, mitsubishi pajero translates into a straw dealing masturbater?
The early 110 was selectable 4x4. Basically the LT230 transfer box was modified so the diff lock simply engage front output with the actual diff "locked" (I've never managed to find what LR did). Only problem was it meant no centre diff so off road use only otherwise you get transmission wind up like a Series.I put 110 swivels, brakes etc on a Series axle (via machined adapters) and managed to get a pair of the original 110 Free Wheeling HubsYou can now get the parts, including the FWH's, from Ashcrofts - http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/miscellaneous/part-time-4wd-kits.html
i must say of all the people i shoot with that drive 4x4's its mostly the land rovers that need welding. if i could get one for good money i would have a fourtrak but they arent exactly cheap for a good one
thats exactly what i have found. i shoot with a guy that has a sportrak and he keeps saying that when it dies he is going to buy a brand new disco from our local stratstone but in the 10 years i think he has had it and abused it, it has only needed brake pads and one shock that was bent on a trip
