Ordered one of the sealed units with tank included. How would one of these go feeding into some ducting to better distribute the heat around a room?
Would one of these power supplies be okay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AC100-24...hash=item2839ce58aa:m:mmvRW2u9BaVrDk9vZAD1wDw
The ad for the heater says it uses 8w to power but guessing maybe draws more on start up so would the 3A / 36w PSU in the link above be okay and safe?

NO!
I have just installed mine - see the new thread.
Takes a good 10 amps on startup - melted my connectors!
Crickey, glad I asked. Will have a look what else there is.
This is the one I ordered - overkill but I needed the reliability and safety.

Basically the same thing but with exposed live terminals!!!
I wanted the sealed one because my staff might poke their fingers in it!
Excellent thanks for the advice.

One warning on these Chinese heaters - there is no way they are 8kw! It even says in the book 5kw - and the plate on the machine shows 5 to 8kw! I guessed as much - quoted fuel consumption is 0.6Lph - 8kw would be more like 1Lph. Still exceptional value for money. They should sell these for £400 - then people wouldn't think they are cheap and nasty!
Running mine on kero much cleaner. Also running at idle a lot causes problems. This will run flat out most of the time.A mate does VW campers for a living and he was saying he’s heard these can block up internally, I suppose time will tell. I watched a review on YouTube and the guy had done hundreds of hours of running without issue.
If they are 5KW it will be a lot bigger than a D2as they are a direct copy (looks wise not actual material content) of the old style Eberspacher Airtronic the sizes will be as per an Airtronic.
