Shouldn’t be a problem. The flexable stuff is very expensive, as its heat proof. So bare that in mind when using plastic ducting. The outlet can get very hot

The ad for the heater says it uses 8w to power but guessing maybe draws more on start up so would the 3A / 36w PSU in the link above be okay and safe?

I think you're looking at 10amp on startup while it heats the glowplug

I have just installed mine - see the new thread.
Takes a good 10 amps on startup - melted my connectors!

My brother runs the unshielded one for all his led strip lights - they have good stable power outputs.
One warning on these Chinese heaters - there is no way they are 8kw! It even says in the book 5kw - and the plate on the machine shows 5 to 8kw! I guessed as much - quoted fuel consumption is 0.6Lph - 8kw would be more like 1Lph. Still exceptional value for money. They should sell these for £400 - then people wouldn't think they are cheap and nasty!

A mate does VW campers for a living and he was saying he’s heard these can block up internally, I suppose time will tell. I watched a review on YouTube and the guy had done hundreds of hours of running without issue.
Running mine on kero much cleaner. Also running at idle a lot causes problems. This will run flat out most of the time.

Mine arrived today, impressed for the money. I was up and running in 10mins for a quick check that it functioned, and it did with a very clean burn on kerosene. It even came with a relatively comprehensive instruction booklet in Chinglish - but easy enough to follow.

I have had mine running 3 hours a night all week
You need a good 12 volts it draws 10 amp on start up then about 1.5 amp running
No problems at all with fumes CO detector next to it
Runs about 0.3 liter per hour at about 70 % 0.5 running flat out using kerosene
I will be doing a full review on it next week

as they are a direct copy (looks wise not actual material content) of the old style Eberspacher Airtronic the sizes will be as per an Airtronic.
