it will be ok tomorrow when it gets blown overyou put that decking the wrong way up, its usually better when its parallel to the earth rather than at 90 degrees to it.

Just remember if decking is over 30cm high then strictly planning permission required.
why did u put the pea shingle down? i have crazy paving down that will be under mine
Thought you were doing decking not fencing
Am I missing something 9r have I joined the thread too late. Is there also a pic of your decking or just the pea shingleOh and I meant to say people moan that decking doesn't last
It does if you
1. Set it with a fall so it drains (you don't need much to create a natural drain)
2. Put plenty of bearers down (and make sure they aren't on the earth)
3. Make sure air can circulate
4. Treat the deck surface every other year with a good oil based decking treatment (not that crappy clear stuff that stinks of paraffin)
We don't get any weeds underneath - 3 inches of sand - a breathable membrane and 4 inches of pea shingle is underneath the decking
Ours has been down 8 years - zero rot anywhere and still looks as good as the day we put it down
I can't see his decking just his pea shingle. Lolthat is Bchilds decking and pea shingle
Are they both the same decking. ..I. e you built it in stages? ??
