Decking ideas

thats another 2 posts in cant get a 3rd because the neighbour has a big vine growing where i want to get!

thinking of getting a thin metal post and hammering it into the ground then cladding it with wood

though I must admit id build in a heated seating area heated from a wood burner instead of your orange gas bottle being one lol

I am on doing the same with a 4m square area, must be the time of year lol.

i am thinking on trying it with these for the post then srewing the joists to the short uprights. Galv`d so last a good while and also in 100mm not the 75mm as in the link.

Only reason i am ding it as i am knocking down the conservatory to build a 30x15 workshop, so i guess i will have to do a bit in return , ah and i still have my pound area for all the scrap.......no.......... storage.

Heh, lots of opportunity in them there bits. Hint. Focus on things that matter NOW. I am now clearing out several years of 'useful ideas' that would be nice, but not actually productive.

Yeh, but think how you will be found years later, under a mound of 'useful stuff'. The 'relatives' on the TV will talk about what a nice guy you were, just that they hadn't seen you for a few years....or ten. Of course, they will mention the fine deck they understood you had..

it can also be run from just the flue as the flue warms the seat

well that is the fence nearly finished just need to trim the posts and cap it off

would have had all the posts for the decking sunk in by now but been on the sick bed much to my displeasure

you put that decking the wrong way up, its usually better when its parallel to the earth rather than at 90 degrees to it.
