However more info was sent by the buyer that they had major problems with their post and the Postie has been sacked. Which begs the question why was he going to open an eBay case??

But I sent them.....he had a ticket to collect them from his local post office.Because ultimately it's the sellers responsibility to ensure any goods are delivered.
I asked as I paid for mine.A quick google and they no longer offer a free version. Im sure you can find a old download though.
he had a ticket to collect them from his local post office.
So, the Postie tried to deliver them when he was out [or asleep/in the bath/didn't hear the bell etc] and left a 'collect' ticket. How thick is your Buyer?
But that's not what you said in your previous post...But I sent them.....he had a ticket to collect them from his local post office.
All documented.
My point was what more did he think will get done.
He has already said he still wants them and will pay postage to get them. Lol
The request to resend was made separate and after we replied to his first and second message..But that's not what you said in your previous post...
Regardless, under current legislation, the responsibility is still on the seller to ensure any goods are delivered.
It doesn't matter who's fault it actually is that the seller never received the goods, it's still the sellers responsibility.
I'm sure if you never received an order, and never received any notification about a failed delivery attempt, you'd be complaining.
Exactly this thread. Ordered a hydraulic ram, box delivered lunchtime 1 m X1 m x 10 CMS .
We had to open thé box to remember what we'd ordered.
Exactly this.
