I have a cunning plan to hopefully make the green more like the hue I would like, will it work? No idea but I will have a go and see.

Few different labels printed ready for trials tomorrow, two of which are pictured below.

My cunning plan went as well as Baldricks do. The yellow looked a dirty yucky shade in the green bezel and the green just wasn't clear and crisp so it is back to the original all green.

I did some tests with the tool setter today. Set a tool 4 times in a row and noted the axis position each time , raised the arm into the holding socket and then lowered again and did another 4 setting routines and then repeated that procedure again. It looks like I have a repeatability of +/-0.005mm on the X axis which is actually +/-0.0025mm in axis movement as it is reading diameter mode.

Happy enough with that

I would offer to do it for you but unless it is smaller than 100mm x 100mm I am afraid there is no space in my workshop

Thanks, the toolsetter has made setting up tools very quick and easy and more importantly accurate.
