Ronan wouldn't you just own the chitty chitty bang bang car for bragging rights. Nothing there convinces me of anything other than he just loves exotic show off cars. Just because he owns a new fiat 500 so he doesn't get his oh so precious cars dirty means nothing.

neither did rosinante at Bexhill, but getting back to t' subject, it sounds like TG needed a refresh? still a lot of hot air and designer scruffy look about shopping trollies, at least James May rides bikes, as does the hamster.

To get back to the original point, top gear went from a dead motoring magazine programme to a new format. That was Clarkson and his mates ladding about doing what we all want to do but can't. That format was getting tired. Now I have a feeling that said trio wanted a way out and could engineer it with the beeb looking the bad guys.
When it comes back it will need to be a new format again. Ginger tosser knows what people want to warmth and since he's producing it it will get the audience. Probably a younger audience too. Unfortunately getting to be an old farm myself so I'll jest stay in the work shop and Potter about instead of vegitating in front of the goggle box.

Not any more. Clarkson, and producer Andy Wilman, founded "Bedder 6" which owned the rights to Top Gear. The BBC bought 51% of the shares several years back and then acquired the rest of the company in 2013 (background).
So Clarkson and Wilman are free and clear. What this means, I suspect, is that they will be able to do it all over again, create a new company with a subtly different format, and sell it to (most likely) Netflix. Good work if you can get it
I'd watch Clarkson, Hammond and May all day long before I'd watch Chris Evans and Jodie Kidd, though

i'd rather be in the shed messing about with something anyway, my telly stopped working one time and i didn't have the money to replace it, its amazing how much you can get done when you aren't watching *****.

Maybe Chris Evans will actually let his co-presenters ride bikes instead of dismissing them. Now that would be a change...
