I just recently almost finished my chopper bicycle project in metalwork class. This is what it looks like. Its also pretty hard to steer, but I can still make turns with a diameter of about 15 feet. It is my first bike and my first time attempting to weld so I know many things are wrong with it but I tried
Nice work, very stylish, I wonder if it will be a bit bouncy with that large open space and no triangulation? Whatever if it is modding it is easy.
The virtual chain is a great idea, no oily marks on your legs.
You did this is part of a class? school/ college?
What do the tutors make of this nonsense?
First bike project on here in ages.
Well done old bean.
Chunkolini POD.
Thank you. Yea it is a bit bouncy, but those gussets make the frame a lot stronger. I would defiantly modify the frame and make it shorter, but I don't know if I have enough time left. I am at the end of the semester. But I do have 5 classes left and I'm thinking of moving the crank lower, it will probably make it easier to pedal. Maybe a rear brake aswell. Haha, I will have to put a chain on. I did it in a high school metalwork class. Teacher actually made 2 of his own chopper bicycles earlier and wanted us to try it. Glad I chose to try to build it was a lot of fun
aaaargh, Paint?
Satans urine.
What does it do?
it covers things up.
And costs money.
You have made a bike at no expense. Buy paint and double the cost.
ratbikes are freebies, ok welding gas costs money, the bikes and tubes should be free.
Painting them? you are hiding their souls.
the Way Of the Rat is CHEAP!
