im gonna put copper grease on the pipe work behinf the nut so hopefully will prevent it seizingThe "Only" issue with kunifer is it will react with the mild steel brake nuts and can seize.
It will never be an issue unless you need to take the system apart, in which case you might need to get the hacksaw out.
If you don't need to take it apart it will, pretty much, last for ever.
Copper can crack, because it's fatigue strength is much less than steel (or Kunifer) but put a few additional clips in pace (the manufactures will have designed the fixings for steel pipe) and it will be fine.
I've never heard that rubber grease is hygroscopic.
I know dot 3 and 4 brake fluid is, but that's a different thing.
