If you need them to do something & havent got it then you need it. As to if you can justify it on grounds of frequency of future use thats a different matter.
I have several friends who seem hell bent on getting rid of everything their Dads ever collected on the grounds that "Its Junk or clutter", then turn up asking if i have this tool or that!

of the 1 item so fort every pair of shoes i have i can have 1 drill better get down to sports shop i only got 4 paies of trainners 2 work boots and 1 pair of suit shoes thats not enought then

I bought my first , socket set, about 40 years age, was 12yo. It was a 3/8 and 1/4 , Kamasa set in a green metal box.

So you married your wife's sister then divorced her to marry current wife? Mate of mine did that but he took it to an extreme, they were identical twins!

Tread very carefully that equation also converts far too easily to :- makeup, dresses, shoes, and new white goods. The conversion factor being what's good for the gander is also good for the goose.
