ive been blessed with liberal parents. I’ve been allowed to do what ever I want. Thier only dream I’ve shattered is not becoming a Doctor

some of my aunties and uncles stress when kids marry out of cast let alone a different colour. This drives me nuts

im very forward thinking and liberal. We go where our destiny takes us.

I am not as well travelled or educated, as some of you.But ,I have worked with, shared a meal or had a few beers with lads of different nationalities, colours. We all the same at a certain level. We want to earn enough to look after ourselves and our families, give our kids a better life than we may have had and give them more opportunities. Put food on the table. Someone to keep you warm. And a few beers or drams, when the day is done.

Given the way the papers were marked up, perhaps the BBC should have just returned them once the kind and anonymous member of the public found them and handed them to the BBC for safe keeping!!

what’s happened to my country folk ?

This is what happened to us indigenous folk: The farmers refuse to pay proper wages and would rather see Brits on the dole, and import gangs of foreigners to work the fields.
I (along with many 1000's of other English people) applied for some picking jobs locally, when the farmers were wailing in the media that the lockdown rules meant their crops weren't getting picked, because they couldn't ship in the usual gangs of Romanians.
Couple of weeks later, us locals were fobbed off, the rules were relaxed, and the airports were swarming with Eastern Europeans ..who were somehow miraculously not carrying the bat flu
