i refuse to mix in a wheelbarrow by shovel i hate that way of mixing, im fine using the hoe for mixing in a wheelbarrow though
i own a mixer but my brother is banned from using it as he always leaves wheelbarrows still with cement on them or his workers do
i got my own back on him as i returned his new wheelbarrow the same way but didnt bend or buckle the way he left mine in due to mixing by shovels
if you have built a small shelter for one make sure you can bolt it to the floorAnd if you haven't got space then you can use your new mixer to build space. At least I'm hoping that's how it works.

For years i mixed small quanties by hand as its such a pain cleaning out a cement mixer afterwards then one day thought id try my plastering wisk and used with one of those plastic tubs you get from B&Q it mixes up a decent sized batch real easy and so much easyer to clean up after

Got started at about 11.
Only one more "cross" course above this level, then the coping.
The labourer doubles up as the cook.
Afternoon session up to the same level at this end and did most of the tricky bit between the sheds.
All in about 100 bricks done. The wall is not level and has a lean so slow progress but I'm happy with the results so far, just eyeballing it as I go.

considering you was going to pay someone then its a tremendous job...i have seen brickies knock out worse. You would not get me working at your place if you hand out cups of tea that milky weak though

You can see the lower wall on the left side is a mess, I'm sure there must have been a structure there when the wall was built from the other side and no care was taken, as well as the crappy bricks being used on our side.

the walls been rebuilt at one time from there side and someone didnt clean your side of the bricks off
if your side had built it then it would have been cleaned off
a query here that shed in pic 2 it was fine with just the felt on its roof but as soon as soemone put that roof stuff on it its not if its aimed towards your side
as its now classed as water errosion onto the wall and your land if you are paving that area that roof will flood your garden
if its not aimed towards your side ignore whats been said

It is just "adult lego" - it is a "garden wall" - you are making a good job of it.

The water damage came from the gutter along the back of my shed, it should have gone to a soak away but was leaking onto the wall for years. I've now deflected it to my whiskey barrel water butt.

Wall looks very good mate...
But we know need to discuss the tea - boiling water - yorkshire tea bags - left then stirred - add small quantity of skimmed milk - served in a clean cup. @roofman back me up on this!

I are yes, though a pie normally has a lid, unlike those things you get in a pub, which is a dish of hot stuff with a flakey thing in the top!

You are under a misapprehension... Lady Grey is citrus and very refreshing. You are thinking of Earl Grey which has oil of Bergamot.
