I prefer the pressure bleeders, they auto top up the reservoir and purge the system fast enough to drive air out of things like load compensators, just better all around especially if you are on your own.
I would agree I prefer a pressure bleeder myself - it is just easier when you are on your own - auto top up.
Only downside I can find on some odd shaped reservoirs - they can overfill the reservoir and you end up - vacuuming out the excessive fluid - or "runnng it off thru a brake nipple".
Brake bleeder/workshop tip: Ram a very short length of hard nylon air line up the internal end of the pressure bleed cap - cut this to a length that matchs the distance from the bottom of the cap to the max fill line on the reservoir. By doing this you can auto fill to the level you want/need (ish).
