Nights last night, got up early and removed the rear bumper to fit my lower canard splitters and carbon black diffuser. Just waiting on a small gloss black M5 boot spoiler.
Hope to be picking up a 2006 535D in 3 weeks with a couple of serious hybrids hanging off it...500 donkeys and a similar number of torques was my neighbors car and he has spent 5K on mods..told myself i was staying away from cars but this Covid fiasco has reminded me i need a toy... Lyn i blame you because you keep shoving your ride in my face
Haha, nice one Brian
its really coming along. very tasteful.
Have you replaced the rusty screws in the rear number plate yet ? It's dragging the whole thing down
Yep. It now has pressed metal plates on sticky carriers.
was a nice looking beemer before the mods and looks perfect now
Must got my M5 style boot spoiler fitted. Quite subtle not in your face. Happy now.
Well, the Beemer has now gone on to pastures new. Wasn’t even up for sale and word got to someone that I had put it up at one point but it didn’t sell, the guy got wind and asked if it was available. I took him out for a run and he was hooked, he said he just had to sell his Focus first. I ended up giving him a three hundred quid and my car and had this very clean car from him.
I have purchased a set of gloss black Zetec S honeycomb grilled and fog light surrounds and some gloss black vinyl tape to tone down the chrome. I’ll get pics up of the grilles tomorrow. Took it up to the local Albanian valeters today then swapped out the grills and applied the tape. Very pleased.
Hum, don't get why you would do that but as long as you are happy with the deal.
What's that double yellow line there for ?
Cos the Beemer had 190k on it and was 2006 and this has 100k on it and is 2011 and is booking about £1200 more.
Simple, to stop OTHER people parking outside my house.
Got a second coat of Bilthamber hard wax with Carnuba on it today and gook a few pics with the blackout tape and grilles.
Looks smart as mate
I know it might not light everyone’s fire but it’s very clean so a few subtle mods and I think when I’m ready to move it on it’ll be an easy sell to a youngster.
Yoof will like that
