Well, the Beemer has now gone on to pastures new. Wasn’t even up for sale and word got to someone that I had put it up at one point but it didn’t sell, the guy got wind and asked if it was available. I took him out for a run and he was hooked, he said he just had to sell his Focus first. I ended up giving him a three hundred quid and my car and had this very clean car from him. I have purchased a set of gloss black Zetec S honeycomb grilled and fog light surrounds and some gloss black vinyl tape to tone down the chrome. I’ll get pics up of the grilles tomorrow. Took it up to the local Albanian valeters today then swapped out the grills and applied the tape. Very pleased.
Cos the Beemer had 190k on it and was 2006 and this has 100k on it and is 2011 and is booking about £1200 more. Simple, to stop OTHER people parking outside my house.
Got a second coat of Bilthamber hard wax with Carnuba on it today and gook a few pics with the blackout tape and grilles.
Cheers @stuvy I know it might not light everyone’s fire but it’s very clean so a few subtle mods and I think when I’m ready to move it on it’ll be an easy sell to a youngster.
