That is the mk2 cavalier lovely wagon as well but I have the mk3 saloon. I have searched almost every welder ever made and just can't seem to find 1 which suits the job. The draper 1 seems good value the correct amps needed but no reviews can be found to get feedback so its looking like it will be a clarke branded 1.AHH the old Sri...is that the one with the black bottom half?
Mate used to have one...engine top end was made of chocolate.
I'm surprised any if these are still around...I remember these being full of rot and filler in the late 80s!
For the welder get one that has continuous power adjustment via a dial...not the power button/band jobbies.

Its not the welder its the welderNot at all I'm just asking what low cost welders are about which are suitable for my needs. Just looking advice
<cough> expanding foam <cough>Well the mk2 required a special welder too...it came in a tub with a tube of hardener....sometimes with optional aluminium mesh of course for the really big holes.
