thats spot on even the rotation speed looks right for mixing cement

Can't be sure but I think the motor I took off was maybe a replacement at some time and at 2,800 rpm it maybe knocked the gearbox to buggery.
I do believe that later mixers have the 2,800rpm motor and if someone asked for a Belle replacement motor, maybe that is what they got.

36 seconds of my life gone ..but it was worth watching , only use gravel & water to clean /polish the drum , no bricks , rubble or scrap metal .

I'd add to Gaz's clip , best use a separate dry bucket of the same volume for the cement powder that way very little of the dust sticks especially if it is a galvanised bucket .
You might also check out if the cement powder is phosphate resistant too as some conditions of soil require it .
